I have my English Language exam for AS Level tomorrow. My tutor gave us past exam papers and she had annotated them for us to see what to look for, but she has noted stuff like pre-modifying adjectives and fronted adverbials but she never taught us this in cl and now I don't know whether I'll do badly if I include them or not. I cannot seem to find a definition anywhere on the net and I can't see my tutor now to ask what they are. Hi everyone. When I was about 9 , I fell on a tile floor and a little more than 1/2 of my front left tooth came off. I had to have a root c and they made my smile look normal. Well I'm 15 now, and it's discolored and shorter then my other front tooth. My dentist said that they had to do something called a post and core crown. And since I've had a root c, they said that I don't need novocaine. But I'm definitely they type of person who's afraid of dental work and the fact that they're going to be doing stuff in my gums really freaks me out. Has anyone ever had anything like this done before? Do you know anything that could help me out? Thanks in advance!

I feel like love is a curse and I'm condemned to a life of loneliness. Unless I change. Neither of us are angels (there is more to the story). So finally, the question... First let me tell you what happened. I had the front healights turned on, and I pulled out one of the tail lights bulbs and that's when they went out. Now when I hit the light switch, the front head lights do come on but the tail lights do not. But when I turn them of the pop up headlights do not go back down but the lights do turn off. The haz. lights do work and so do the brake lights. Another thing I noticied was that the radio works when the key is on the "on" positon but there is no sound coming from the speakers when the car is running. This is a '86 Trans Am by the way. Please help!! And I checked all the fuses and they appeared to be good.

2 stroke 125cc vs 4 stroke 250cc dirtbike?

If you don't intend to race and money is an issue I think you should go for the 2 stroke 125cc. They have plenty of power but are not what I would suggest for someone who wants to take racing seriously simply due to the fact that more times than not they have to line up against the 4 strokes and then the 4 strokes usually have the advantage. But not racing you won't care about that. As far as noise goes the 4 stroke is a louder deeper noise that tends to carry further. I know I worry about the noise from our own track as my son used to have 2 strokes and the difference was very noticable when they moved to the 4 strokes. If you are coming off the crf150f you will find a 2 stroke 125cc more than enough of a handful as they are a lot different to ride than the bike you have. Just be aware that if looking at the cr125cc honda stopped producing them in 2007 and they did no further development on the bike from around 2005. Ktm will cost you more and the parts are usually more expensive.

Good question. My first answer would be definitely no, we lost about 40% of our stock portfolio which we worked VERY hard to get. My company is laying off but so far I have kept my job (fingers crossed). However, if I am trying to see a silver lining, I would say that it has helped me to focus on non-materialistic things with my family. Instead of going to a restaurant I shop at Sam's club and me and my two kids all make a big batch of spaghetti together. Instead of buying a new WII game we played a board game. My kids are getting a better understanding of values that my parents who were depression babies ped down to me So overall, no, its been a stressful time, but I think its possible to always learn a lesson whenever possible.

Feral Hog Hunting in SE Texas / Bullet weight for hog hunting?

Do some research. Feral hogs are a big problem in Texas right now. I am from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and I know some hunters who don't have too many problems in finding farmers and ranchers who need some hogs removed. I know that there were some hog problems in Galveston back in the 90's. Pelican Island had feral hogs. That may be taken care of by now though. I would start by checking with some gun shops. A lot of them have information on things like this. They would definately be able to tell you what kind of weapon to use. I think that a .30-06 would do the job but it might be overkill. However, I have never hunted hogs myself so I would not know. It is best to find a person who has done this type of hunting.

Larger universities focus a lot on research. Most professors have their main job to research and their 2nd is to teach. This is a big reason why it is impersonal and you end up with 4 tests for the entire semester rather than homework...they are too busy to grade homework. This isn't true at all universities but is at many. Also, large cles tend to make it harder to learn because you do not have as much opportunity to ask questions to clarify confusing information, and you do not have the chance to have cl discussion to hear what other students question that you may not have thought about. Once you get into your 2nd-3rd year however, you may be in cles that are smaller because they are narrower in subject. These cles will be great because you have interactivity with your professor and clmates and will most likely benefit a lot more.

For MIT, it definitely helps that your jewish and hopefully caucasian because majority of the kids at MIT are asian and indian. It also helps that your a female. If you have legacy than in with this economy you'll be in even better shape because most schools are calling on alumni since they have lost a lot of money in the market. But your GPA seems good, and although the 690 is a bit low for MIT if your grades in school are offset the 690 then you're good to go. It also depends what high school you are coming from and what area you live in, because top schools like that want diversity.

welcome to the recording world, 1st off your going to need a audio interface such as an m-box or pretty much anything that can hook up via usb or more preferably firewire(its quicker, less latency) but the main thing your going to have to consider when choosing one is how many tracks you want to record at one time. if your just doing like a solo project with maybey a guitar, keys, and some vox, pretty much the basic version of any of them would work fine. youll be recording the tracks independantly and overdub the others. if you want to record a live band or something like that, youll need a mixer so that you can mix down the tracks and use your interface to record the aux out of the mixer. other than that, some good condersor mics and some eq's would probably be the next step for your home studio. hope this helps

i've been running my tank for 4 weeks/1month. at 1 week in i brought 4 snails and 3 emerald . at three weeks in i brought a royal gramma, purple firefish, and da bangaii cardinal. they are doing very well and really love the tank. i just brought 4 more snails today because there still a good amount of hair algae one of the overflows. i notice alot more snails (babies). just wondering if i could get a pair of clowns and either a goby or tang next because this guy that setup my tank gave me 50lbs of his rock and all together i have 100lbs of rock. so im pretty sure it cycled all the way or most of the way atleast. so the guy that helped me setup the tank which he really knows his fish so i might do whatever he tells me and he said get a pair of clowns and either a tang or goby and see how they do. my equipment is:protein skimmer, UV sterilizer, sump, pump, filter socks, 2 overflows, and the tank is filled with RO/DI water. this other guy is telling me that im ready for corals but im pretty sure im not so im going to go with the guy that helped me setup my tank and he checked my water and said i was good. so just want another point of view, should i get the pair of clowns and either a tang or goby? and my cuzins telling me i shouldnt but why would i take advice from him when his tank is all screwed up.lol

Well im not too good with tools but I want to purchase a new saw for my father and im sort of strapped on cash and only got about $200 and I can probably get a little more than that. Personally I believe they are, my moms dog used to just treat me like one of the family, since i have been pregnant though it seems that he likes me a lot more than he likes anyone else. My family life is making me miserable, what do i do?

i have had so much pain caused to my family in the past 2 years.. when i was 14, i did alot of stupid things and began to not like my life so much. I went out and rebelled at a young age and i regret it all. it was that summer of my freshman year, i was getting ready to move from Maryland to California. (my dad is in the military) so we move about every 3, 4 ish years, so i've never really had stability. But in the middle of the move, my baby brother (2 years old at the time) was diagnosed with cancer. This was the worst, most horrific experience i've ever had to deal with. He was so close to death, that it breaks my heart! And on top of that, right when we moved to california, my grandpa (who also had cancer) got very sick and died on his birthday. I was so miserable and depressed. My 15th birthday was a few days later... i attented a funeral on my birthday. :/ We lived with my gramma until we found a house, and i started my sophmore year at a brand new high school, it wasn't easy with all going on. This is when the real problem began. My dad started dissapearing and running off to the casino, blowing ALL of our money. He did some horrible, horrible things. Stealing money from his son, me, my mom, pawning off my mom's jewelry, taking money from my brothers funds, taking all of our tax returns. There is ALOT more he has done.. But he ruined my family, and it was so hard for all of us. My mom wanted to divorce him, but he wouldn't have it. They decided to try to work it out. My dad was sent to rehab, which did nothing, and he maxed out the credit cards there too. The military forced us to move again, about an hour away to the naval base, during the summer of my junior year. I started school at yet another high school, and it was horrible, i absolutely hated it. . my brother's cancer came back, my dad "attempted" to change, but that didn't last very long. I hated school so much, i went on home schooling for half of the semester. All i wanted was to move back to the original school i attended sophmore year, but that couldn't happen. My mom and dad got divorced, my dad got kicked out because he wouldnt stop. And i have so much hate towards him, for what he continually did to my mother, and my family. I went back to school senior year. My dad attempted to kill himself, and my mom drinks all the time and is ALWAYS angry. i've become so miserable i just can't handle being home anymore. I have 5 other siblings, 4 of them younger than me. Oh, i also found out, that my oldest brother, is really my half brother. . the shock from that about killed me. . We finally just moved yet again, in the middle of my senior year, and now everything is a mess, i want to go to my old high school and not another brand new one. i might not even be able to graduate.. i feel depressed. i don't do anything anymore, my mom wants to lock me up in my house just to yell at me for everything. and i mean everything. . i feel like this pain in my heart will never go away. and no one else can see it or understand how i feel. my mom ignores me and makes me feel worthless. i worked full time last year, and have had a job since i was barely 16. . and am currently looking for another job, since i've moved. i have to pay for my car every month 250 dollars, as a 17 year old kid. i pay for everything, my sat's, college applications, gas, you name it. and i have soo much pressures on my shoulders that i cant take it! i am a honor roll student, and i've handled my situations good so far. but i just feel like crying ALL THE TIME now, and i dont want to feel like this anymore. . i've had to grow up way to fast, and no one will cut me a break. i have tried to talk to my mom about this, but all she does is yells and screams at me, she wont hear anything i have to say. Sick African Clawed Frog - Fungus?

My Albino ACF seems to have some sort of white cotton-like fungus growing near it's mouth. I have had ACFs for years, and I've never had a problem with fungus or anything. You are correct and I totally understand what you are trying to say. It seems apparent that the special education teacher is giving away the answers. Modifying tests means re-writing the test so that it is more simplified, yet keeps the content. It means fewer questions to answer, getting additional time to complete the ignment. Obviously, the teachers are over-accommodating because the 100% is clearly B.S. You should speak to the special education teacher about this and also the building administrator. There's nothing wrong with feeling you don't want a student to fail, but obtaining 100% is also not right either.

Dark Black Women vs Light Skinned Black Women

As a teenager, I was subjected to the young dark black guys wanting to only date the light skin black or birachial girls. I love every nationally but I prefer my brothers. I'm in my thirty's now and still is faced with the same pain/insult as I did then. I'm an educated, personable, and loving black women. Why can't a dark skin man see that in me?
