A question about for animal lovers about animal testing?

If you suffered from AIDS,cancer,cerable palsy,or some other horrible,incurable and crippling disease,and a cure for it was developed through animal testing,and the animals that were used as test suspects were tortured and put through unimaginable cruelty,would you still accept and get the cure,knowing where it came from?
