Can I get my low cost Prenatal Care refunded after having insurance?

The insurance is not responsible for the costs before you signed up. Any appointment after you sign up they are responsible for. I don't think you have legal grounds to be reimbursed for the 1300. You might be able to get some of it back. How many appointments did you go to? I would take that into consideration. Talk to the accounting/billing department where you are being cared for and ask.
