How would you feel if your boyfriend had this rough living situation?

If I were him, I would only use the room for sleeping. I would get a lawn chairs for myself & one for my company & hang out in the outdoors unless it was raining. I would also get some kind of small battery operated light for the room where I slept. Sorry for your & his misfortune.
