What should we do here?

My husband and Ilive in the big island of Hawaii..my hubby has DID, He is very malicious and wants to hurt jeff and constantly talks to jeff in is head and has come out and tried to hang jeff...it also has tried to straggle me and hit me....he is seeing a psychologist and psychiatrist....the MD is on vacation until after feb and has no backup..jeff has gotten so despondent, that he tried to OD himself yesterday...took him to hospital and saw psych nurse who told jeff that she has never heard of malicious self-destructive...ALL alter are to protect him and that he should not be aware of his alters....but he is....some he remembers what happens when they come out....some he don;t....she came out to me and told me his faking and just trying to attention..that all they could offer was a respite home for him but in no uncertain terms would they admit him to the hospital....then found psych hospital on another island. my psychologist called my medicaid insurance for approval but medicaid insurance rejected because they went with the hospital idea that he is faking it....what your opinion?..what should we do?
